My name is Juliette Mangon. I'm a Computer Science and Mathematics student at NYU passionate about how technology can support creative expression and connect people working across media-driven fields. I'm especially interested in building systems that are intuitive and thoughtful in how they shape user experience.
Outside of tech, I care deeply about the environment and how innovation impacts sustainability. I also love to paint and spend time outdoors.

Connect TogetHER Music Tech Mentorship Project
Selected for She Is The Music's competitive mentorship program as a music tech mentee under Anna Skelsey, I developed a music analytics platform to visualize creative networks, uncover contributor relationships, and identify derivative links between songs to support A&R insights and catalog strategy.
Projects
Developed and optimized a plagiarism detection system using TF-IDF vectors, cosine similarity, and n-gram models. Verified research findings on trigram-based detection, implemented multiprocessing to reduce runtime by 80%, and adjusted vectorization to improve F-scores while minimizing false positives across large text corpora.
Explored Spotify's use of machine learning in personalized recommendations, playlist curation, and user engagement features like Wrapped, with analysis of licensing models, AI risks, and global platform strategy.

Client Website Development Projects
Built responsive portfolio sites for photographers and visual artists using React, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript. Emphasized interactive UI components and tailored visual layouts.
Proposed that Kering invest in branded digital fashion toolkits for UGC platforms like Roblox and Fortnite, offering customizable avatar assets, textures, and templates to engage players, expand brand presence in virtual economies, and generate new revenue through creator royalties.
Built a TF-IDF-based ranking system to match 1,400 document abstracts to 225 custom queries. Used cosine similarity to determine relevance and evaluated system performance using Mean Average Precision to guide algorithm refinements.
